Consuming Information or Sparking Inspiration

Here’s something I’ve been reflecting on lately: inspiration.

I read books, listen to podcasts, and follow people I admire. These things spark ideas, fill my mind with knowledge, and keep me engaged. This is how many of us think about inspiration—it’s about taking in information.

But does inspiration really exist if it stays inside your head?

Maybe inspiration isn’t just about collecting ideas—it’s about doing something with them. Writing, experimenting, creating. Even if it’s imperfect. Even if it fails.

Because if inspiration doesn’t lead to action, is it really inspiration at all?

Are you consuming information or sparking inspiration?
