Book-End Your Day With a Start-Up and Shut-Down Routine

Do you ever struggle to start or end your workday?

One way to create better boundaries is to book-end your day with a start-up and shut-down routine.

  • Start-up: Begin your day with intention by reviewing priorities, checking your calendar, and setting your focus.

  • Shut-down: Wrap up tasks, reflect on progress, and switch off properly to create a clear end to the workday.

These routines act as mental markers, making it easier to shift between work and personal time without feeling like you are always “on”.

I know a lot of people struggle with establishing these routines. Often, they over-complicate the process, but even a few minutes can make a huge difference.

I’m thinking about running a workshop to share my exact approach to using start-up and shut-down routines consistently. Would this be helpful for you? Let me know.
