The Power of “Yet”

Illustration of a checkbox with a green tick next to the word ‘YET’ in bold letters. The image represents the concept of progress and possibility, emphasising the idea that something may not be achieved yet, but it’s still within reach.

I’ve been trying to use the word “should” less often, and the word “yet” more.

"Yet" is about possibility. It shifts the narrative from "I can’t do this" to "I can’t do this yet".

It’s grounded in a growth mindset and acknowledges that progress takes time.

"Should" tends to be imposed by others, but "yet" is your choice. It creates space for curiosity and exploration, reminding us that we can set our timelines for growth.

So, what’s something you haven’t done yet?
